I took these two photographs on May 30, 2012. This mine is a short distance west of the Badger Mine rail crossing on Hwy 95 in Jackson County. I believe this new operation is a mine and wet plant only, no dry plant. I don’t know where they plan to haul the sand.
I think this is very close to how the Glacier Sands mines under consideration will look from the highways. I do like the orange color… Gary
