      NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE
      BUFFALO COUNTY ZONING COMMITTEE AND BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

      Please be advised that the Buffalo County Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing to consider amendments to a code of ordinances entitled “The Buffalo County Zoning Ordinance” at 6:00 p.m. on April 3, 2013 in the third floor board room, Buffalo County Courthouse, Alma, Wisconsin.

      The proposed amendments include creating a new article in the ordinance for the regulation of nonmetallic mining, updating the language in the ordinance to reflect the creation of the Land Resources Department, and revisions to existing articles in the ordinance.

      The Zoning Committee will prepare a report and recommendation immediately following this public hearing for the Buffalo County Board of Supervisors.

      You are further notified that copies of the proposed code amendments are on file and open for public inspection in the office of the Buffalo County Clerk and Buffalo County Land Resources Office for two weeks prior to the April 3, 2013 Buffalo County Zoning Committee public hearing date and County Board of Supervisors consideration in accordance with s. 59.69(5)(e) Wisconsin Statutes.  For further information contact peter.stoltman@buffalocounty.com
