There’s a new industrial frac sand mine proposed here in Buffalo County — and part of that proposal is to run their sand trucks over this very narrow, very dangerous part of Wisconsin Highway 88. This road, a favorite for motorcyclists and other daredevils, rises and then falls back through an elevation change of about 300 feet in about 2 miles. I started shooting as I got toward the crest of the hill.
